We have robots that can have pretty many normal conversations, we have robots that can learn, that can do pretty much anything that you program them to do. We have robotics already implemented in the car industry in which is mostly prevalent, but other industries are not far behind. Robotic technology offers us some amazing possibilities that could change the world as we know it. When it comes to medicine, the robotics could change the way that we treat people, they would allow doctors to do something that in the past were thought as impossible. Now everybody -looks too robotic technology as a next big thing in the healthcare. But what will be real benefits of robotic technology in the healthcare? One of the biggest improvements that will come with the introduction of robotics in medicine is the precision of the surgical procedures. We as humans are prone to making mistakes, we can`t operate every day at the same level. We can feel bad, sad, angry, all of those things can change the level of performance. Also, we can`t do very delicate procedures with our hands, they are just too big, our hand also normally shake a bit, especially under the pressure. This are all potential dangers when a human is operating. But robots would not be able to do those kinds of mistakes. They can`t feel sad, angry or under pressure. They are almost perfect machines with integrated software inside them which allows them the amazing precision during the operation. And the best thing is that they will always be 100% ready for surgical operation or any other kind of medical procedure.


They won`t make mistakes

As we said in the previous part of the article, robots are always 100% ready to operate. There is no chance that they could make mistake. The only way that this would be possible if someone would thinker with them, their software or mechanical parts. Which, in the end, is wrongdoing by human, not robot itself. Robots can be precise to a millimeter, even more, if need be, which is something that no human would be able to do by themselves. Robots will remove all possible damages done by a human surgeon. If you didn`t know, the 3 biggest reason why people die is the because of mistakes of medical personnel. This definitely sounds scary. But robots will remove this danger altogether when they become implemented in the healthcare system.


Nano-robots for the most precise medical treatments

We are really close to finally having this technology in the grasp of our hands. Nano-robotics I probably the most exciting and interesting part of future medicine and healthcare. Picture this for a moment. You come to the operating table, the doctor takes a medical needle and injects you with thousands of little nano-robots which will do the whole procedure by themselves. This sounds exciting? Definitely, for some, this is still part of science fiction. But there were already some big steps made to making this technology a reality. Nano-robots would be able to be so precise, so accurate on the microscopic level. They would literally be able to find cancer cells and destroy them. That way they would prevent cancer spreading all around the body. They would be precise on the cell level, which is something that nowadays is still something that is not possible to do. We still are not even close to that kind of precision. But one day, when we will have nano-robots, then we will be able to do those kinds of procedure.

There are many people all around the world that need 24/7 care. The problem is that we don`t have enough people with the qualifications to take care of those people, and no one can be 24/7 able to help and be on the same level every time. But robots could change that. They would be able to help any time of a day, every day. They will make life easier for the people in need and for their loved ones. That is for sure.
